Young Scientist Academy Announces 3rd Annual Breakfast Fundraiser

Wilmington, NC — The Young Scientist Academy (YSA) will host its 3rd Annual Breakfast on Saturday, January 31, at Waterline Brewing Co. in Wilmington. This annual fundraiser invites community members, donors, and local leaders to come together in support of hands-on science education.

​Check-in for the event will begin at 8:30 a.m., with the program starting promptly at 9:00 a.m. at Waterline Brewing Co., located at 721 Surry Street, Wilmington, NC 28401. Breakfast will be catered by Pine Valley Market, a longtime local favorite.

​The event will feature student speakers who will share firsthand how participation in YSA programs has shaped their confidence, curiosity, and future aspirations. Through their stories, attendees will gain insight into the meaningful impact donor support has on expanding access to high-quality science, technology, engineering, and math education.

“This event is a powerful reminder that when students are given opportunities to explore science in real and relevant ways, it can change the trajectory of their lives,” said Dr. Rob Condon, Executive Director.

Proceeds from the breakfast will support YSA’s mission to empower the next generation of scientists to become confident problem-solvers and community ambassadors of science and technology.
