YSA's 3rd Annual Breakfast Rescheduled

Wilmington, NC — Due to the recent winter storm, the Young Scientist Academy (YSA) has rescheduled its 3rd Annual Breakfast Fundraiser to Saturday, April 25, 2026. The event will take place at Waterline Brewing Co. Check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m., with the program starting promptly at 9:00 a.m. at 721 Surry Street, Wilmington, NC 28401. Breakfast will be catered by Pine Valley Market, a longtime local favorite known for its fresh, high-quality offerings.

The Annual Breakfast brings together community members, donors, educators, and local leaders to support hands-on science education for students across the region. Attendees will hear directly from students whose experiences in YSA programs have strengthened their confidence, curiosity, and problem-solving skills. Their stories offer a powerful look at how community investment expands access to meaningful science, technology, engineering, and math opportunities.

“This event is a powerful reminder that when students are given opportunities to explore science in real and relevant ways, it can change the trajectory of their lives,” said Dr. Rob Condon, Executive Director of the Young Scientist Academy.

Proceeds from the breakfast will support YSA’s mission to empower the next generation of scientists to become confident problem-solvers and community ambassadors of science and technology.
