Michelle Weatherford

Board Secretary

Michelle Weatherford serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors for YSA, where she supports organizational outreach and fundraising initiatives. A dedicated advocate for environmental stewardship and youth engagement, Michelle first became involved with YSA as a part-time staff member while completing her undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

Professionally, Michelle works as an Assistant Clinical Research Associate with Thermo Fisher Scientific, managing clinical research sites remotely across various therapeutic areas. Her combined background in biology, environmental studies, and research management brings a thoughtful, science-driven perspective to YSA’s mission. She is passionate about fostering community involvement and creating meaningful opportunities for growth and impact through YSA’s programs.
