Kim NelsonBoard Chair
Kim Nelson graduated from Temple University and started a career in the pharmaceutical industry. During her career, her areas of focus included strategic consulting, project management, clinical development, bench chemistry, analytical chemistry, quality control, risk management, sales, and market optimization. After 29 years, she decided to refocus her efforts in making a meaningful difference in her community.
She is equally busy in her retirement and is involved in a variety of local organizations including being Chair of the Young Scientist Academy’s Board of Directors and a Co-Director of the Cameron Executive Network mentoring program. She is a member of an Advisory Board for Cameron School of Business, an advisor for the WILMA mentoring program and a mentor for the College of Health and Human Services at UNCW. Education
