Blair DwyerBlair Dwyer is the Youth Program Manager at StepUp Wilmington, where she works directly with high school students to build confidence while exploring career pathways and job readiness in the local community. She has worked with Wilmington youth for over 10 years and became involved with YSA through a shared commitment to expanding science and education opportunities for local youth. Blair first found her love for the ocean through scuba diving at a young age, and began her career in environmental education as an intern with the NC Coastal Federation. She has previously worked with UNCW's MarineQuest, Sea Turtle Camp, the City of Wilmington, and loved her time as a middle and high school science teacher. She is excited to support YSA’s mission on the Board of Directors, bringing her background in youth development, nonprofit partnerships, and science education. Outside of work, Blair enjoys traveling, live music, chasing her toddler, soccer, and volleyball.
